I don't know if you noticed or not but Microsoft has started to buy or affiliate with a lot of other OS's or applications that everyone use. Are they so desperate?

Definitely not desperate — just exceptionally shrewd business people and marketers. In fact, they're the best. Investing in MS is always a good investment. Choosing them to run your intranet is another matter…. see the Technology Vendors tab for more articles.

I wonder what they think of Chrome? I know it is not geared towards Intranet but they are seriously getting into Microsofts heads. Glad I am in link building instead!

I think this is not desperateness on the part of Microsoft, its the expansion of existing set up. its the great thing to do in this market scenario to look for other opportunities to build the business
