Not that I don't like SharePoint but I simply don't like Microsoft. I just wanted to start with that because my opinion might seem a little subjective, and it probably is. The thing with not just SharePoint but every Microsoft product is that it tries to address a very wide customer group. It aims to satisfy the needs for everybody. And in the case of SharePoint that's a paradox, since it must be a very specialized solution for a very small group to do the job done right.

Wow. That article really said nothing about why we should or shouldn't use Sharepoint. Talk about lack of content. You could use that article for almost anything…maybe you have.
Well scanning an article is easy, processing the information while not a talent is really the key to understanding it. The point of the article really couldn't be more clear:
“The best way to find the best solution for your organization
We're kinda' in the same boat. I'm being asked about Microsoft products all day long by friends and other people that find out I work as a dedicated server programmer. They don't get it that once I leave work I leave every Microsoft question/problem there.
