  1. Excellent point! It absolutely applies to government. In fact, government is a bad offender of this rule… as it relates to “over politicizing” a home page with dumb photos from the Secretary or Minister…

  2. This is a very useful article but unfortunately I can't print it out or send a link to the people I'm discussing this issue with because it has the word “Stupid” in the title. That would be insulting. I'd recommend modifying your title so people can use it as a reference when they're in a discussion with people of an opposing viewpoint.

  3. For you Steve, I changed the title and dropped “stupid.” But for the record, it's not insulting because I'm not insulting anyone or any collection of people. It's simply a writing gimmick. If anyone were to actually feel 'insulted' as a result of reading this it would have more to do with their life and collective experiences than my innocuous article. Nonetheless, I perfectly understand that if you were to print this and hand it to someone that otherwise wasn't getting or understanding your point, how in fact they would be upset with you. And for that reason I've permanently changed the title! Good luck with your project and feel free to call me or drop me a note of you're looking for an outside / expert person to help reinforce your position! Cheers, Toby
