    Gerry McGovern has a post on CMSWire about this – telling Intranet managers not to “lose hope.”
    Listing several things to love about intranets and improve them, like the “increasingly virtual organization” and the ability to quickly “connect the right people with the right ideas, tools and content to get the job done.”

  3. I think there are some valid points in this excellent article but really the way forward is to utilise new media to enhance existing internal communications channels. RSS is a good example of how this can be deployed.

  4. A right full thinking, even Microsoft has stopped distinguishing between internal and external communication. The latest tools even can give access to intranet like administration as well.
